The CV-945 is a simple, compact and elegantly designed one door stand-alone biometric fingerprint reader featuring a vandal resistant cast aluminum housing with a choice of metallic silver and charcoal gray architectural finishes.
There is one relay output and one exit button input. The capacitive reader can store up to 100 fingerprints; 97 finger templates and three for programming. No computer is required to enroll or delete users.
CV-945 provides a Form ‘C’ contact, and an interface for connection of a secure area relay, which prevents access to the door control circuit.
The reader can be connected to a remote relay unit in a secured area, which also acts as a request-to-exit push button. This secure area relay is built into a ‘Designer Series’ piezo electric “Request to Exit’ push button, offering a complete and complimentary access control solution.
Setup and programming can be done by scrolling and tapping on the sensor. The sensor incorporates dedicated sensing technology to detect and defeat fake finger mechanisms, such as molded “gummy” fingers.
In addition, there is a special coating on the touch sensor to provide protection from scratching and abrasion resulting from contact with fingertips or fingernails.
The unit can be surface mounted, or mounted to a flush single gang electrical box, with color matched plate, supplied. There is also an optional rain cover tor outdoor installations.
CV-945 stand-alone fingerprint readers provide an affordable and reliable access solution for professional offices, daycare, assisted living residences, retail stores, commercial offices and executive homes.
“Camden’s CV-945 stand-alone fingerprint readers are ideal for small access control projects, providing a much more secure and convenient access device compared to proximity cards and keypads,” said Camden marketing manager, David Price.
The CV-945 stand-alone fingerprint readers are backed by a three year ‘Camden Touch’ warranty.
